SecurityCompanies.co.za is a free quote service for physical security in South Africa. Whether you need a guard at the gate, a response contract after a break-in, cameras for a shop, an electric fence for a farm or a full security plan for an estate, one request reaches the security companies and installers near you.
How it works
Fill in the site survey at the bottom of the page: the kind of site, a rough plot size, what you want covered and where you are. The site plan works out the boundary in metres, the guard posts or cameras, and gives a rough price. We send the request to security companies and installers who work in your area, and they quote you directly, usually after a free site visit. You compare and decide. It costs you nothing.
Everything we take requests for
From an alarm and beams for a townhouse in Randburg to gatehouse guards for an estate in Ballito, night guards on a building site in Gqeberha, an electric fence for a smallholding outside Bloemfontein, cameras for a warehouse in Jet Park or security for a wedding in the Winelands.

Getting security quotes you can compare
Two quotes for "securing the property" can mean very different things. Make sure each one covers the same posts and hours, the same grade of officer, the same number of cameras at the same resolution, the same metres of fence and the same response commitment. Ask for the company's PSIRA number, proof of insurance, the contract length and the notice period, and who owns the equipment if you cancel. For electronics, ask what happens during load shedding and who services the system. A cheap quote that leaves a gate unmanned at 2 am is not a saving.
